The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, being designated[1] for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972[2] in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said section 2(2), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, makes the following Regulations: Citation, commencement and extent

These Regulations amend Schedule 3 to the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (England and Wales) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/1673 as amended) so as to implement the requirements of Commission Decision 2000/542/EC amending Decision 2000/528/EC concerning certain protection measures relating to Classical Swine Fever in the United Kingdom (OJ No. L231, 13.9.00, p.12). A regulatory impact assessment has not been made in respect of these Regulations.
