The National Assembly for Wales being designated[1] for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972[2] in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by that section, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, makes the following Regulations - Title, application and commencement
(2) These Regulations apply to Wales. (3) These Regulations come into force on 27th February 2002. Amendment of the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export)
(England and Wales) Regulations 2000
(2) In regulation 12 -
(b) in paragraph (3), after the words "cattle or pigs" there shall
be inserted the words "or sheep or goats".

the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (England and Wales)
Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/1673) to make provision in relation to Wales
to give effect to -
