An Act of the Scottish Parliament to amend section 7(4) of the Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) Act 1967 in respect of rights of several fishery.
 

 
 
1        Permitted fishing implements in several fisheries
 
In section 7 of the Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) Act 1967 (c.83) (protection of fisheries), in subsection (4)(a), after sub-paragraph (ii) there is inserted "or
 
 
(iii) in the case of several fishery, an implement of a type specified in the order and so used as not to disturb or injure in any manner shellfish of the description in question.".
 
2        Short title and commencement
  This Act-
 
(a) may be cited as the Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) Amendment (Scotland) Act 2000;
 
  (b) comes into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it receives Royal Assent.
