The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 104, 112(1) and (5) and 115 of and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 7 to the Scotland Act 1998[1] and considering it necessary to do so in consequence of the provisions of the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Oil and Chemical Pollution of Fish) (No. 2) Order 1993 (Revocation) (Scotland) Order 2000[2] makes the following Order: Title, extent and commencement

1. This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Oil and Chemical Pollution of Fish) (No. 2) Order 1993 (S.I. 1993/143) insofar as it extends to England, Wales and Northern Ireland. 2. That Order -
(b) prohibited fishing for or taking fish within that area (article 4); (c) prohibited the movement of fish out of that area (article 5); (d) imposed restrictions throughout the United Kingdom in relation
to the use of any fish taken from that area (article 6).
4. No regulatory impact assessment has been prepared in respect of this Order.
