Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act
1 (1) A person who conducts exploration activities, as defined in Part 11 of the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in British Columbia, and who is subject to Part 11 of that Code, is, with respect to those exploration activities, exempt from
(a) the requirements of sections 62, 63, 64 and 68 of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act, and
(b) any regulation made respecting a provision referred to in paragraph (a).
(2) Despite section 175 of the Forest Practices Code
of British Columbia Act, the definition of "party" in that
section does not apply to a person referred to in subsection (1).
